Yamaha Dt 250 1978 Spark Plug problem

The muffler is already out for now because ive got to unclog it.
Its out in the video in fact.
Im suspecting that the expansion chamber is clogged as well so ill definitely take a closer look at that.
The gas i use for my motorcycles is Shell V-Power 91 octane with Klotz racing oil 38:1.
The suzuki generally sits as long, because when i have time i ride them both.
But last time i went riding, the yamaha wouldnt start and i didnt want to change the spark plug that day.
So thats why the yamaha sat that long this time.
Usually i start them every week or 2 weeks.
I dont have much time to ride because of the job.
So i dont think its related to the problem.
Im thinking its a timing problem or something else because as i mentioned my Rm is jetted stupidly rich right now for winter and it doesn't burn spark plugs.
SO im thinking it might have nothing to do with the actual air/fuel and/or gas/oil mixture.

Let me know if you need any parts, I might be able to help. I am parting out a 78 DT 250, I have not posted any parts yet, as I need to clean them up and put prices on them.

Some stuff I am keeping, (tank, forks, wheels, stator,) it was pretty bare when I got it, no gauges.

So i went for a ride with my enduro today.
It has a brand new spark plug NGK that i installed yesterday in the previous video.
Now look at the spark plug after this short ride.

I crashed the enduro in the video. I dont even remember when was the last time i crashed since it generally dont happen. But this time , the road was pure ice and there was nothing to do with these tires.
I generally use my set of winter tires but they are not installed yet.

This is the video :

Dont forget to click on 1080P
I made a song today to introduce the bike at the beginning of the video.
Havent touched a guitar for several months i hope you like it.
The bike starts at 1:40
The crash happens right after 6:15
The replay of the crash is just after 7:00 on a different camera angle.

To bad about the crash, but doesn't look like anything was damaged. I noticed when you crashed the seat flew off. I suspect your bike is missing 2 bolts. They are located In the back under the seat.

In fact both bolts broke clean off. This is the only damage of the crash.
The mounts are not damaged. These were aluminum bolts. I use them because i prefer that the bolts break before the mounts.
Thanks for the picture, where did you get it ?

Try looking at NWVCP.com and you can find the parts Fischer for most every enduro.

Too funny...Did anyone else notice when he crashed he seemed more concerned about his ipad? :ROFLOL
I am surprised you made it as far as you did as I watched the wheelspin on the speedo thinking whats keeping him up?Don't know if running it without the pipe is hurting anything but maybe slinging snow into the exhaust port is helping anything either.First smile all day though. :haha

That video is way better than an episode of Ice Road Truckers! I'm assuming you are a younger man to take on the ice without studded tires. Especially riding in traffic. :EEEK

Takes me back to my last ride on my original CT2. Around '79-80 or so, took it out on the lake on Christmas break from school, knobbies but no studs, dumped it several times but it just kept going. It was a blast.

Thanks for the video. :likey
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that attaches the handlebars to the seat
