Then i added a bit to attach the vape regulator/rectifier.

Still working on the foot controls. The shifter is on but is too long. Im going to see if my local moto shop has anything that will work or i may have to cut down the stock one. Im almost done with the brake as well. Its hard when you dont have a welder at home and everything has to be taken to work, then back home to be fitted, then back to work for the next step, then back home....

The bike is all back together again. I took it for its first ride on the road yesterday. Road it to work so i could build a rear brake switch bracket and weld the battery bracket on. Overall it did ok. I think the timing may be a bit advanced as there was a time or two i thought i heard some slight pinging and when starting the bike i got a kickback once or twice. Also forgot to put air in the tires.... i think the rear might have had 3-5psi and the front maybe 10! It was a bit of a squirrelly ride to work.

Also, i need recommendations on a new rear sprocket size. That 56 tooth one is awsome on a tight trail but it seems to limit my road speed a bit.... the shop manual says stock is 15 front and 44 rear with 18 by 4.00 tire. I have a 19 by 3.5 tire and a 15 front sprocket. What are you folks running for a more trail oriented bike? It would be nice to be able to do 65 on the hwy at a fuel efficient rpm (what is a fuel efficient rpm for hwy speeds?). Can a guy have both? What is a good compromise?

Thanks
Jonathan

Checked the oil injection pump adjustment. It all seems to be in specs. Is there some kind of a flow test i should do or should i trust that its functioning properly and start putting straight gas in the tank? After this riding season is over i will have deet rebuild it so i wont have to think much about it again but it would be nice to not mix gas it i dont have to.
