I see that some people have piston woes, and others need to change the piston as it's time. Actually I haven't pulled the head or the clutch yet as I have just been enjoying the bike. Here are my piston shots for now

And finally some troubles are starting to surface. Blew the dipped beam on my bulb but can still use high beam. And realised I have no rear brake light even though the bulb there is good. Probably more trouble on the horizon, I hope I can stay on top of it.

You've been riding it as intended...  not uncommon for old bulbs to fail... 

I wouldn't call that "trouble"...  I'd call it proof you're having a great time!
