), but probably best to change the brake shoes. Also, fit a 6v voltage regulator (there is a Yamaha Service Bulletin on this in the Tech Library).

Haven't been on this forum for a few years.  Managed to gain some knee issues that make riding problematic.
I have a collection of mostly not-pristine stuff including an assembled DT1 and a DT2MX basket case and lots of parts.
The time has come for all this to go to someone who will appreciate it.
If you are near Raleigh, NC let me know and we'll get a "viewing" arranged.

Is this the MX or the assembled DT-1 we're looking at? Can you post more pics, maybe in your own thread? I'm out in Casper, WY, but will be in Columbia, SC, in a bit over a week and might be interested. If you want to make it a PM, that's OK. Prices?

That is the DT1 with Torque pipe. The MX is a true basket case. I will admit I have let it all become a mess. Will work on photos as I organize.

Newbie from the UK here
Just got my CT3 fresh from Canada 
Looking forward to rebuilding and riding 
A nostalgia trip which replaces a DT175B I owned 40 years ago ;)

This is a great site - such a massive amount of advice and model info
