Well, I prefer it to a living room. It’s a canoe livery, camp kitchen, skinning shack, rebuild shop, and unfortunately a storage unit. I’m sure I’m not the only one. It’s a good space and heated too.

Currently running a parts tank until good one is done. Por15’d to stop the flow. All good now. Took four weeks and many posts to get spark. Too much time and too many phones betweeen tear down and reassembly. That and wiring the generator wrong. Thanks to MarkT on that one. I managed to clean the carburetor enough times. That’s been all good. Last week she got tagged and shagged. 89 miles into the top end. Seems like every time I run it, it have to adjust the carb. Stock jets except for one larger main #150. Couldn’t have done it without this forum! Don’t personally know another enduroholic. My advice to other new guys is, research this place and when knowledge is passed, note it . Clean your carburetor, replace with Yamaha parts, and master the basics. Still working on the basics.

Did 19 miles of cow trailing the morning after a rain. Mighta been a mistake. How many times do you wash it to get it clean? Gotta get the the parts bikes combined to make a Vermont runner!

Your project is coming along very nice. I have to ask, "Where on planet earth did you find your tail light?"
I ran one of those on my 250 for yr's. Put it on the bike back in "76". I still have it in a box, but
doesn't look as good as yours.
Like your guages to, very nice work!

Steve F, thanks for the post! I tried to find the link on that light from eBay, but it seems it’s no longer available. Here’s a similar one out of the UK for trails bikes.

If I ever see the one I got, I will post the link for you.
The gauges were DEETIFIED and I am very happy with them and everything else he did for me. Plug and play oil pump and wiring harness.
