Good deal. As long as the old float is "water-tight," it should work fine. If it leaks at all, then you have a problem...

Installed all the new parts in the carb after cleaning it and blowing all the holes with a compressor
It has the 160 main jet and the only way I can get the bike to start is with the air screw all the way in. Even then it barely idles and I can’t rev it past 3-4K
I set the float to 21mm when barely touching the needle valve
Spark plug Is kinda wet but doesn’t smell of gas.
Any input?

Whew went back through the whole thread but am only on my phone so may have missed it; have you cleaned the exhaust out? If not at this point I'd get that exhaust on top of a hot campfire stoked with wood for a few hours then leave it overnight.
Stock reeds if that doesn't help.
I have not looked up compatibility but I have a '74 dt125 engine in a Tupperware and it has a carb on it, know nothing about it as I needed other parts but it would be cheap to send to you to swap out and try, if you have concerns about your carb body in any way.
My ct2 came with the timing way off (retarded) it would rev fine through the range but foul plugs and needed an oddly small main jet. Still ran surprisingly well though.
Stock reeds if that doesn't help.

I ordered some stock reeds to see if that helps any.
I do have a fire pit in the yard. You’re saying just to get that exhaust really hot to clean it out?
If you can check the number on the carb you have and it’s the same as mine id take you up on it to see if that’s the issue.
Mine has a 443 62 number on it

I'll check the carb next time I'm home.
On the exhaust yeah just take any trim off and burn it out on a nice hot fire. It can take hours and will burn out all the leftover two stroke carbon, sometimes lightens it by a few pounds too. Mostly depends on how the bike was ridden, if a previous owner putted around and idled a lot it could be chock full and causing your issues. Cheapest thing to do
Post burning out just wire wheel and BBQ paint to have it looking good.
Edit: best done at night because it will probably smoke an impressive amount.

Put some paint on it and installed it.
It definitely helped the bike, sounds better than ever and started right up. Idles good and I was able to rev it to redline in idle.
As soon as I take it for a spin the damn thing still falls on it’s face when it’s hardly revved under load. I’m going to try to get a go pro video of it.
Can it be ignition related? Pulling my hair out.
I tried moving the needle clip up and down one but that didn’t help any.
Here’s the spark plug after puttin around with it misfiring like crazy. Feel like I’m getting close and it’s something silly
Should I try a different size main jet? It has the Mikuni 160 on it now. I did get a 150 when I made my last order just in case.

GoPro would be great so we can hear if it sounds like it's bogging or lean. Not knowing the history of the bike the boysen reeds would still be my red flag item.
