Well well! My little 90 has come on leaps and bounds in the time i haven't been on the forum.
Work has got in the way ,but now after 4 years i finally have a full time job again.
I have had the paint work done by a local guy who the Yamaha dealership near me put me onto.
he's done a crcking job.
The bike is on it's wheels and all the chromework has come back.
Engine is in the frame ,front forks on .
Still not found any rear shocks. I have been looking at a pair of brand new Suzuki Honcho ( TS ) 90 shocks as they look similar . I can get them from Australia.
Other than that,it's the brake shoes , air filter, sprockets and chain.
Need the back shocks more than anything else.
Has anyone overhauled thier HT shocks ?
Anyone got a sugestion about a substitute?
Will post some pics this time next week.
Regards Dave.

I ended up getting these. Took some modifications to make them fit. Turned out well. I’ll get a picture for you tonight.

Thanks Scottddove. Yes i would rather get something that looks alike.
I also bought tank badges from marble Motors. Exspensive by the time they got to me but worth it.
just trying to get the 90 foil decal made by image works in Liecester .

What I did to make them work is drill out the metal bushing so the bolt would fit thru it. Also on the bottom mount you will need to trim the rubber bushing. Last but not least completely remove the rubber bushing from the top and hold the top against a grinder( I used the edge of a chop saw with a cut off wheel for plastic pvc pipe) and shave the width down until it can be inserted into the top mount. Reinsert rubber bushing and trim it to allow it to fit. You will have to shave the width of the metal bushing also top and bottom. Hope this helps.

Great stuff. Thanks Scottddove .
Even when the thieving postage and UK VAT have had a chunk of cash they're still decent money so ill be getting some of them over to Teds towers.
Had to laugh as well on the subject of suspension. the front forks are shorter than the width of the handlebars.
Looks a bit bizar at the moment. It won't do for long with a pair of them babies on though.
