He should be able to get one. I have 3 registered in Vt. that I did before they stopped doing them and don't plan on getting Ma. plates/title until someone makes me. If I have to I am not sure if I will have the same problem as mine have my Ma. address. Last fall I picked up 2 - DT2's from a guy in Vt. and had him register them and was able to get Ma. plates and title for them.
Good luck

Update on my saga. from my research on VT's website I had the PO write them about getting a title, they want him to fill out a form and send a check so I assume that's being handled. I in the meantime did meet with Bill Becker in Virginia (after a 19 1/2 hour round trip) and brought home another nice RT3. I was able to get the title transferred over no problem, only problem now is when I was out for a maiden voyage on her I discovered the tail light is not working. Bill did tell me it had electrical issues. I'm going to start a new thread on that to see if this electrical moron can get some guidance....

Start at the tail light, then work backwards. Maybe have to pull the tin stuff out of the way. Have you taken the time to understand continuity?
I’ll look forward to your adventure!

Thanks, I've started another thread on this very frustrating experience if you care to get a good laugh.  I "think" I understand continuity but certainly don't know how to use a volt meter to check for it, only think I can do with a multi meter is check voltage, yeah I'm an electrical moron and admit it...

I bought one of these - I'm sure they're available in the US.

Clip on one battery terminal and pointy bit on the test item that is linked to the other terminal.

Thanks Alan, that's actually what I've been using and one of the only electrical tools I actually know how to use!
