My father is out of the ICU. and doing better !!  ( Thanks Mark, YEP..the power of prayer ! )

Time to hit it with a GREAT Exuberance !!!!

Back to the Air Cleaner build.
Screen is formed and held on by safety wire.
Makes it so you can just take the foam off to clean . I like that !

with that outta the way, time for mach-up the foam material..

Not diggin on the gap'osis where the foam should fit snug.

I may just have to get me some Pilobond adhesive and make it a sock
.That would seal up the problem.
( UNI FILTER foam says to use either Silicone or Pilobond adhesives on their foam material . )

Time to address the oil pump issue.
looks like the seals inside are bad. Leaks perfectly around the wheel and shaft.
Won't prime or even get a dribble out of the bleeder.

FUN FUN !!!

Great news all around.  Thanks for the update Rick!

P.S.  If feed hose to pump is removed, does oil flow out of it?  I've seen a blockage in the feed hose or tank fitting cause the symptoms you described.  I think Yamaha had a screen in the tank outlet on those models and I've seen them gum up with muck and Panda fur.

Thanks Curtis for bringing me back in on this.
My 90 year old Dad is still touch and go , after his massive coronary heart attack. He is out of the ICU and doing a little better but not out of the woods yet . Thanks.

Now back to the bike ...after going through just about everything in the book ( A book I never found !! )
she runs. And runs good too. Kept it at little under $350 in parts or so.
Some people may hear that,  there might be a video or two out roaming around.
Hard to say.... I just rode.
