Help! No spark was created by firegoalie29

I have a 1971 ct1 175 not getting spark
at the plug.
I have:
check the coil (working getting spark at plug)
filed points (getting spark at points)
cleaned the magneto
figuring I’m losing the energy between points and coil.
any suggestions would be appreciated

You say the coil is sparking the plug. How did you get that or did you flash a battery over it if that's the right terminology. You did say getting spark at the points, are you spinning it over with a drill. You could see a minor spark at the points in the dark but not big or I'd be wondering about condenser. Anyway. Shortcut the wiring & run mag black straight up to the plug coil so you're eliminating the loom. See how you go.
