And now as promised...
"The Air Cleaner Rebuild " part 1.

The technology back in 1963 for the YG1 was amazing and baffling. The air cleaner looked like someone cut open an oil filter for a tractor or something like that. With a square inlet !
Piece o' cake eh? we shall see...

 

 

 

Time to hit up the local Home Depot and Moto X shoppe.

Parts acquired. Cost was around $35 bucks. Not to shabby since the one on EBAY was going for BIG $$$$. not including shipping.
The one I will be making will be able to take apart and clean.

Easy enough. Time to clean it up and see just what we got.
In the meanwhile, bend the screen using my PVC fork seal installer.
