Welcome! from the UK.

See below a link to a thread that shows my own tips for searching for parts (at time of posting this reply, it was the last post on that thread). Folks more local to you will, I'm sure, chime in in due course.

Thanks MarkT!! The parts lists available on this site have already helped immensely!! It really helps to have the exact part number when combing though EBay. I have already ordered a wrong kickstart gear lacking a part number earlier in the process. Only an $8 part...

Making progress - just painting frame and swingarm...

New to the site (THANKS!), Old School to "Sickle's". I just acquired a Yamaha 360 Enduro, last one I owned was during my mis-spent youth (see attachment #44). Hope to get this new project off the ground with your expert help.

Be Well!

Cheers,
SGTSnacks

Hey everyone, new user here from the UK.

I have recently been gifted a motorcycle which is in quite a rough shape. After doing some preliminary research and stumbling upon this forum, I’ve been inspired by the great people here to begin my first restoration project.

Currently in the process of identifying which model it is so i can purchase parts, once completed you may be seeing a whole thread in the "Restoration" section of the whole process.

Thank you to all the contributors here.

Hi all, new user from Australia.
I recently picked up my old bike from my parents place, a '79 DT100. It runs and rides but needs some TLC. I'm also wanting to find indicators for it to possibly road register.

Also, whats the best place to find a PDF of the manual?

Welcome! From Ascot!
Have a look at the VIN numbers in the Tech Library, that should help identify your bike.

Sarge, Good luck with your RT360. What year is it? I've owned 3, 1973 RT3 360s since 1974. My latest, I've owned since 1989 and it's in my garage as we speak.

To determine your year, check the manufacturer date on the sticker on the right side of the upper frame member just below the handle bars.
Otherwise, go by the color.

1970- black with yellow pinstripe; 1971- black with red pinstripe; 1972- silver; 1973- orange; 1974-green. IN 1975 the DT400 was introduced. Have fun. Shawn Kerkes
