The only banjo bolt on this set up is the one that screws into the cylinder. Its all clear.

Here are some pictures of my pump set up.
1974 pump with brand new cable.
Improvised adjuster plate (big washer) and the cable pulley off a 1977 model.

What I have found is that the 77 model pump uses a screw in fitting to hold the pulley in place and for the ramp to slide on. The 74 used a roll pin. Screw in fitting is 3mm, roll pin is 2mm. That could make a difference.

Here are a couple of videos of the pump in action.
You will see with the adjuster plate on that there is no pump movement. I should be able to shim the plate to achieve movement.

The video with the plate off shows the pump at full stroke. Looks like it is pumping air or oil out of the shaft, like a seal is leaking. Some oil is pumping up the outlet line, but it is bugger all.

Screw in pin has a step on it to limit its depth of how far it screws in--plunger shaft clearance. Has a tiny socket hex on it. Might time for another pump by the looks--or another nother pump. Keep the premix going.

Curious about a couple of things....

What kind of oil are you running? Looks very brown... most "injector" oils are dyed some color like blue. Reason I'm asking is especially if it's cold where you are and the oil is thicker than 20wt, that's known to potentially restrict pump output.

Second is that 250 pump output is normally around 8 cc's per 200 strokes of pump at full stroke if I remember correctly. The Internet says there is 20 drops per cc so that would be about 160 drops per 200 strokes or 0.8 drops per full pump stroke. Oil isn't going to gush out of the line or anything.

It might be helpful to use a small syringe as a measuring device and actually measure how much oil per 200 pump strokes?

Thanks Mark.
That oil coming out of the oil feed line is old oil that is still in the pump. The red dyed out I am using has not pumped through yet.....
It's not that cold here was about 20 deg Celcius when I recorded the video.

I think the pump needs an overhaul.

Have you had the outlet fitting out of the pump yet? Probably was said already but there is a check ball and spring under it and I've seen a couple nearly plugged with debris.

All clear under the ball and spring.
Oil pushes out of the hole with the ball removed.

Seems to be leaking quite badly from the shaft.
