I paid $300 for this 75 DT250 that didnt run. It needed both carb boots which I found online for $150. It had no spark and when I removed the ignition cover it ws full of water. Cleaned that mess up including the points and it fired right up. Put a new battery in, replaced the light bulbs and I am all in for about $500.

Well, brought her home, numbers matching, clear title, good compression, motor is free. Gas tank is rust free but has a couple of dents, the seat cover is torn. Seat pan look ls new, no rust, tool kit is still with bike. PO said he has owned it since 99 and his neighbor owned it at least a dozen years before that, he believes the milage on the clock is actual. 5600 miles. The bad, somehow the kick stand and mount have been torn off the bike, signals missing, a few other small things.

Thanks, the bike isn’t without its problems, tank is dented, sprocket cover is broken, fly wheel cover has a chip in it and the kick stand is missing, mount and all. You can see where someone once tried to weld it back on. I will

There's a template and whole thread on making a kickstand bracket on this site. Fairly common thing when someone had the habit of standing on the pegs with stand down when starting the bike.

That’s great news, I will try and find it, I have a mill and a tig welder, shouldn’t be too big of deal to repair. I found a complete kickstand on ebay for $17
