I agree, it is a tough call, I have a few projects in the works, would be nice to have one that could be a rider with minimal work, here are a couple of pics of the bike, looks like the signals are missing but the rest appears to be complete.

Can’t go wrong at that price, it is more than fair If close by and you don’t run into high transportation costs. IMO

it is pretty close, around an hour drive, not too bad. Anything in particular I should be aware of when I look at it?

Rust/corrosion. Engine not locked up and has compression. Seat pan integrity. Engine and frame numbers not tampered with.

Title? Depending on where you live, getting a clear title with a bike can be important... and almost anywhere, not getting a clear title (or other legal ownership paperwork required by your local authorities) at the time you pick up the bike can be risky.

Price seems very fair. I'm surprised it hasn't sold already.

The gentleman I am purchasing it from has agreed to hold it for me until this afternoon, it has a clear title in his name, from my conversations with him the bike has good compression and turns over freely. He says it was at his summer cabin and put in a shed 20 years ago and was running at that time.

It is worth 4 times that in parts, but WITH a title there is NO way to go wrong. Buy it Keep it Love it tenderly and pass it on to one of your kids
