Looks great! I'm close to getting mine "finished" soon, too, and can't wait to ride it.

Thanks for the compliments. I have only put 30 miles on the bike, I have had two problems.
I have the title I got in 1974 when purchased but had not purchased a tag for it since 1990. They do not have a record of the bike at the tag office and they have sent a copy of title to Atlanta. That will be taken care of in time.
I still do not have a brake light that you can see if the lights are on. I can take the tail light cover off and can see the brake light very dim with the tail light on. I know very little about electrical but have searched and read and tried to find a bad ground or a bad connection and have not had any luck. I do have a close friend that is an electrician but he has had Covid, I think he is over it now but will be a while before I want to have him over. I can cut the lights off and the brake light works great.

how does your horn work?
i had a very similar problem last week with dim brake light and in the end it turned out to be a flaky horn that was leaking the hot side to ground like a resistor. Maybe you unhook the horn just for kicks, in case lightening struck twice?

Make sure the bulb is a 6V. 12V bulb will illuminate dim.

I had that brake light problem once when i got the wiring reversed so brake light became tail light. Tail is the lowest wattage obviously. Even seen someone manage to fit the plate in the bulb socket turned half a turn but shouldn't be able to happen as have different sized tabs. Filament wires touching each other. One pin broken off bulb & managed to force it in wrong way around despite the pin offset. Things like that.
