Picture of the ignition switch that I bought is attached and he removed the mechanism, had a ferret around and managed to cut two keys for me for £15.

Heres my ignition barrel,he cut me the one key without the ignition numbers, 40 pounds,sounds like you got the better deal..

Yes, that does seem a smidge expensive.

I was able to give my chap a bit of help by taking over the key (with number) from my RT2, to be used as a point of reference.

Still, at least you have a working ignition switch now.
