Picture Attachment problem (09 Jul 2022)
Due to the extraordinary growth of the membership and resources, we are once again bumping up against hosting limits. I am working on a fix. In the meantime, the forum should function, but you won’t be able to attach images. Working as fast s we can to fix. Thanks for your patience. - Makotosun

Plan is to go the same way as my CT1-C restoration, certainly not show winning, but pleasing to the eye.

All pretty straight forward, apart from the swingarm bolt not wanting to come out yet.
Penetrating oil doing it's best to help out.
Bike has had an earlier seat fitted which is why a PO has ground back the seat stopper guide so the seat fits.
I removed it completely now and cleaned up the area, which will confuse experts in twenty years, unless they search the forum of course

Dave, I'll probably go with powder coating, I've got enough painting to do with the tank and all the other tinware.
A mate of mine has given me the use of his heated spray booth, so I won't need to seal off my garage this time around.

It was cold here Dave, until I got the blow torch out to help get one of the swingarm bushes out

Had to press out the inner steel and the rubber so I could hacksaw a slot in the outer bush.
Cleaned up the shocks (never underestimate how good a brass brush is) and they're now sitting in Evaporust.
Dropped off the swingarm and smaller parts to the powdercoater up the road, the frame goes to a different shop as it's too big for the guy up the road to shotblast.
