If you haven't done so already, check under the battery box to see if the original flasher relay is still present.

Sorry Gr8 - Moving too quickly I suppose. 
1971 did the longer rear shock cause any handling issues?

The longer shocks and Pirelli MT43 tires that are slightly larger in diameter make the bike sit up a little higher. Handles just fine on the road, I don't take them off road. I did lengthen the kickstand 1 inch. These shocks will possibly interfere with the 44 tooth rear sprocket on the 250. For the 39 tooth sprocket on the 360 they don't interfere.

Received the shocks.  Put them on.  Perfect fit and I really like the taller stance. Great tip 1971.
