Did you check the tiny jet in the float bowl?

There are two different Jet Setters , the difference being the thread pitch , which needs to match your needle jet in your carb .
If it doesn't screw into the Needle Jet easily , you have the wrong one . The pitch difference is small so even the wrong Setter will probably start
threading into the Needle Jet , but will bind up quickly .

I 'think' & 'happy to be corrected' that #19 is just saying if you find an Oring that fits snug in the grove but is too fat--sticks out too far--just sand the outer Oring edge.
All good but Gotta be careful doing that.
Like maybe stretch it over a long bolt & revolve it against a sanding wheel or something.
It's the sort of thing i'd do if i was stuck.
Once i simply sat an Oring of some sort out of the groove & let it sit up to the hex & it sealed down in the lead in to the bowl cavity.
Still had the old Oring in its groove too.
But don't follow me as i do dodgy stuff sometimes!!.
Correct Oring should be easy to find, as in post #15 if we're talking DT360A--forgotten where we're at now. It's old age you know lol.

I actually don't have the bike right now. I took it to a guy to fix the bird nest inside the headlight. I have a new rebuild carb kit I will install when I get it back.
