Here we go then.......
Got the frame back from powder coating today, so I can start putting her back together.
Still waiting on a few parts and I'm only half way through painting.
Also, got the exhaust back after welding.
Will keep posting pictures of my progress.
Anyone have a torques setting for the swingarm?

Yesterday was a good day.
Having sprayed loads of bike/car bits over the years using aerosol cans and getting good results, yesterday was my first attempt using 2K paint with a spray gun.
So pleased with the results, the finish seems very close to the original.
Will continue with the tank today.

Mauser nothing wrong with a bit scruffy, my XR250 has got plenty of patina to it and just like your RT the engine is great.
I bought my RT with the idea of doing a light restoration but it just got away from me :)
Clear coated the tank today.
I'm pleased I did the repairs and painting myself. I kept the original yellow and managed to get away with just painting the top.
I'll flat and polish it this week.

Tank completed.
Had a lovely few hours this morning sat in the garden flatting the tank and then polishing.
So pleased with the way its turned out.

Sort of, maybe. She and Mr Ritchie parted company - she left and he stayed.

I believe that he's set up his own brewing company now, called Gritchie. I couldn't be sure, but I think that he likes a bit of off roading on motorbikes.

New tyres fitted and wheels balanced yesterday.
Poor Mel from Mel's Motors, Bracknell had a hell of a job getting, what we think might be the original 50 year old Dunlops off.
Brake shoes arrived today so we are Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'.
