If you want it to look stock with the exact "Koito" or whatever emblem in the glass you'll have to keep looking for a NOS lamp.

They show up now and again. Not cheap when they do.

rimneck, here are comparison photos for you. mine now has the Octane headlight with a replaceable halogen bulb. I use a 12v H4 bulb and it works great providing plenty of light for daytime riding and since I don't have the regulator, teh 12V is less susceptible to blowing out. Anyway, in my hand is the original 6V sealed beam, a GE brand that came on the bike when I got it and on the bike is the Octane. There is a difference to them but nobody has noticed when looking at mine. When i had my 69 DT1, the 6V bulbs blew sometimes and replacing them with 12V bulbs in the headlight cured the problem and I didn't ride a lot at night, but either way the lights weren't great at night. We have to ride with lights on in the daytime in Florida so this is my solution. I hope this helps...love your bike! go ride it.....

Is this the Octane headlight that would work on a 75 DT250?

The intake boot was from Hotfoot Moto for about $100 usd. Also included the gasket.

It carb to air box hose came from Clauss Studios for about $32 usd.

The Yamabond 4 came from my local dealer for about $9 usd.

The intake boot is 110% awesome and would pass for oem.

The carb to air box hose is 100% correct dimensions and fits perfect. The only minor thing I noticed is one half of one end is slightly thinner rubber than the bottom half (still quite thick though). But it fits and works excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase 100 more of them if I had a need. It sure beats the old one wrapped in black electrical tape to cover a dime size hole in it!!

If you need links let me know and I’ll get them.

I'd be interested in the Clauss studio link. That's a great price for a repop air box hose.
I paid alot more than that for an OEM when doing my 2nd 250A. The original had shrunk
to much to fit correctly.

Hotfoot moto stuff is great, I installed their intake repop on a 78 IT175. It's working great.

Thanks for the info
