Ok will also try that...I’ve been buying Pobit’s headlights that have worked well on my earlier model bikes.....

I have a NOS Yamaha voltage regulator coming in the mail.

I use the pobit headlight and that single wire regulator off eBay. Works great

would both those be 12volt AC rather than 6Volt. Could run 12volt bulbs if ya running ac direct lighting i suppose but would be a bit dull at low revs. Takes me back 30 years or so when riding my RT1 to work & had an XJ600 headlight, huge light on those, & had a 12volt halogen bulb plus 12 tail light. Never blew unregulated & man it just about melted the tarseal at revs. Not realy the ideal setup but was experimental times lol.

I am afraid that what I recommended might be 12V, although it does not say in the add.

Sir,

12V works just fine, ans since converting mine with a Trail Tech two-wire unit (adjustable voltage), I haven't blown nary a one. Your choice my friend. They're all from about $12 to $18.
