Gurus advise needed was created by DT-Steve985

Hi all, well I’ve already noticed that there are some wizards of knowledge on this forum so I am reaching out to you all.

I have a 1974 DT125a with a CT1 175 engine fitted. I am currently running an after market air filter but would like to go back and find an oem one.

The question is; can I use the 125 air box with the 175 engine? Does it all line up and fit correctly?

your help is greatly appreciated.

Steve, I think you'll need the original air box as it's a '74 '75 model part.
The air joint is 314-14453-00 and is also used on AT2 AT3 CT2 CT3 and shouldn't be too difficult to sort out even if it doesn't marry up with the carb.
I think the CT1 air joint would be wrong as it's not an offset bend.
Kellys (I think Gr8uncleal has used them) have one
There is one in the UK but has no lid.
