Hey guys I adjusted it clockwise and it started up first kick and idles perfect. The marks line up perfect and I tightened the flywheel nice and snug but not to spec. I have a tusk clutch holder that has pins on it that fits perfect in the holes of the fly wheel.
It makes a sqeeling noise at low idle but goes away the second I give it a tiny bit of throttle so i know its not a mechanical problem. I think it's the random conical washer I added under the flywheel nut. I found a conical washer in my parts bin that was the exact size as the crank threads and added it. I think its because the washer isnt compressed fully is whats making the noise. Going to find a flat washer tomorrow and I guarantee it'll go away. Hopefully. Thought?? Ps I know my carb is leaking very bad haha I need to fix that asap.

Firstly congratulations, she runs. Noise won't be the washer & conical or not the nut should be well tight enough to flatten it out. If its not tight enough the flywheel will slip. So--very unusual noise & is the flywheel touching a screw holding the stator plate on or something like that. Or magnets touching the coils if the crank isn't perfectly true to turn. Could be a dry main bearing but not likely. Sounds external as you say. Always something new to diagnose with old bikes. Does it change or not happen i you lean the bike way over to the left--then right.

It sounds great!
I’d love to hear that triple Kawi in the background with the pipes on it!
I have to find a test tank like yours. I’ve been using a quart oil bottle with a squirt spout but the fuel line keeps popping off and making a mess.
Looks like yours is a weed wacker tank. I have an old Bolens in the barn that I just haven’t scrapped yet. My future test tank!

Yep it's a weedwacker tank I had laying around flipped upside down so gravity feeds it into the carb works perfect! And yeah that triple is my baby it's a 1975 h1500 I fully restored it and has higgspeed GP pipes. It sounds amazing. I'll have to post a video on it when I fix the left carb leak. Needs finishing touches like the side cover and tail piece I have just haven't put them on yet, also need to lose those foam uni filters and get 3 small K&Ns

Mount is missing plate with stud that should be laminated to rubber block.
From parts drawing it might be upside down too.

I'm gonna have to find a mount on ebay If it's available. I'm just happy I found the silencer because they're very hard to find.
