Tdc is tdc going forward or back but important thing is you said in post #10 you then went "anti clock" to 71 thou. I hope you're just mistyping & mean you went clockwise from tdc to set at 71 thou or there's the problem. if it ran before set correctly & nothings changed then i'll take it that you're got lefty & righty misquoted. Best of luck. ps another thought i wonder if its blown out a crank seal. Lets be sure ignition is set before top first. & sorry if i read your story wrong--i'll read again.
Just to add, i'm not familiar with these new fangled ignitions but so long as the firing point is when the lines align then i guess there's nothing else to worry about.

RT325 is correct you get tdc then clockwise to 1.8 mm. And line your marks up

Ok thanks alot I'm gonna do that. I'm sure that's what the problem was. There's no way I damaged anything right because it only ran for 1 second every 10 kicks I gave it.

You didn't damage anything even if it ran 20 minutes. Yes, rotate clockwise to 0.071" after you zero out at TDC.
I rotate the wrong way sometimes even though I know better. Which is why I asked. Always good to re-check a couple times after tightening flywheel... especially with no key.
P.S. You are darn good... hard to get marks aligned as perfectly as you did!

Thanks alot guys I'm sure it's gonna be good. Just need to order a different flywheel puller because this Power dynamo flywheel uses a 27mmx1.25mm puller and i have a 27x1.00mm puller(common on most 2 strokes) so when I get the right puller I'll let you guys know. thanks so much again guys

Powerdynamo is RH thread too... surprised they didn't supply one with the kit. Every kit I bought always had puller. But that was before VAPE.

They gave me a puller that only threads onto the crank threads. It's useless they should have gave me one that threads into the flywheel that pushes on the crank end.

I'm pretty sure they gave you a new flywheel nut and no puller.

If it 'was' set dead wrong after tdc instead of dead right before tdc & 'if' you still had points ignition she would have run perfectly backwards if it caught on by kickstart. If that ever happens don't touch the kickstart or she'll do damage you wouldn't want internally & part the cases--well can happen at revs. Anyway--with cdi i don't know if it could run but i think it would fire but no more each kick--or 10.
