1975 MX250 Reed valve and manifold was created by tlh0824
Hello,
I purchased a decent MX 250 top end for my DT250 and quickly noticed the DT reed valve and manifold were not the right size.
As I start to go down the rabbit hole- it looks like 75-76 MX 250 reed and manifolds are hard to find. I looked up the part# on the MX 400 and it 400 and they are the same, is this correct? Are there any other tricks (modifying parts) or a different model intake I can use even if it not the correct part#? It seems there are plenty of 74 mx 250 reeds and manifolds on eBay, any chance these would work?
thank you
Tom

What you are saying i s a bit confusing !! The manifold is part of the cylinder. Are you possibly refering to the reed cage ? Or the carb mountiing . If you are looking for the reed cage , afre you looking for stock replacement ? Or up grade to V force. I can help if i knew what you mean

Sorry, when I say manifold I am referring to the rubber carburetor mount

There’s a reproduction intake manifold made by hotfoot moto. It’s a good product, but expensive. It’s the only thing I’ve found available, so I guess that makes it a bargain.
