I bought the system for my DT250B.
I was initially sent the wrong stator. After a quick email exchange I was asked to send it back which I did on a Tuesday. The correct stator was with me on Friday.
The bike now starts and runs perfectly. I also bought a 12v gel battery that fits the existing battery space perfectly.
The only slight issue I had was to modify the connector to the loom so it sent current to the white wire to charge the battery. DT models wiring looms have some subtle differences. That was a 5 minute job with wiring crimper.

Thank you for the reply. I wonder what's going on with some people having the kickback issue and others, like you, not. Could it be that those whom have kickback issues are modified with bored out cylinders or something like that?

No, it's the timing. Glad Rex's fixed one!

Here's some older threads.... many have had timing issues, to be fair there have been several versions of the system. And some reports of a true "plug and play" system.

After my experience with the moisture and corrosion under my RT stator cover a couple days ago, I was wondering? How well do the aftermarket electronic ignition systems hold up to the condensation moisture and corrosion it causes? Thinking that someday I may need to make this change also.

Well you would no longer have points in there to corrode thats an advantage.
The black box can be tucked out of harms way too.
A smear of silicone might help too. I dont think there is a gasket specified for that cover. I may be wrong.

I may have a similar problem, I have the white wire from the regulator/rectifier which connects to nothing and also a green wire from the stator also connected to nothing, Im having problems charging battery but rest of system spot on, was it a similar problem for you ? I am in contact with Marcus and he is being really helpful, I thought I had a system problem but more than likely as he says, wiring...don't I feel stooopid
