You are talking the trigger coil gap you measured but thats irrelevant & "you are the man" Hats off to you, congratulations & hope it lasts but even if it doesn't  at least it's proven the cause. Reminds me of when laptops cost heaps & me being too tight to spend money. I used to start my laptop everyday with a hair drier in the back warming something up. Nvidia things or something. Crazy days.

Hahaha that made me laugh , will try & get back on the road at the weekend & see how it goes but starts up a lot easier now so fingers crossed it goes like stink ,if not i will get my laptop & hairdryer out :). will keep ya posted

Amazing.  Quite how one goes from " I think my CDI just blew"  to " I know, I will roast my CDI in the oven" I will never understand.

It is quite the mental leap....

No one was more surprised than me, when i started this thread i never thought i would be saying i roasted my CDI in the oven :)

Took bike for a quick spin & ran good -Quite quick for a 250 lol but the brakes are made of wood i think :)

Is your front brake cable good? What condition are your brake shoes?
