Looks like 76 DT125 tank (sitting on seat)  is slightly different than 75 DT125 tank on the bike?  Or is it just my imagination?

(Very nice tank!)

76 one-off year. They are not interchangebable. I have no 76 DT125.

My current tank has a large dent and a failing coating / liner. So repair costs exceed value.

I suspected it was different...  the 76 175 is also a "one off", but a completely different frame than the 125.  Thanks for verifying!

It's been almost a month now with no reply from seller that I contacted. I asked about metal thickness and tank in primer only. No answer. Asked a second seller why "raw" tank was more money than painted tank. He replied that he " did not understand my question" Anyone who steps up and buys one of these, thank you, and please write a review. I would still like to find a good used original tank. But I cannot afford to put your kid thru college to get it. When I first joined the forum, the MX aluminum tanks were crazy. Whenever I sell anything I will always offer it to Forum members first. And it will be a good deal that I will stand behind. Thanks for all the help so far.  Bob M.
