DT2 lost spark was created by AirborneSilva
Bike had good spark now nothing! Battery is fully charged and putting out 6.25 volts. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Tony

I bet you have dirty points causing the lack of spark. the battery is not needed for spark.

I did pull the flywheel off to check them out, they look a little burnt to me. Should I try cleaning them with 600 sand paper? Looks like points and condenser would be a pain to change...

Just give them a scratch with some emery paper but not very coarse grit stuff. Make sure there's no grit left behind & see what happens. Can just lightly tighten the flywheel nut for turning it over looking for spark on the kick start or spinning with a drill.

Don't have any emery cloth so I used the 600 that I had, ran it through a few times, still no spark...
