LIZEEC, that is called integrity, and I agree with you, my word is my bond.

I am afraid I didn't read the initial article regarding the circumstances for the find, just looked at the pictures. It seems that the integrity of the seller is the root of the fault.

Well Jeez I didn't expect this. If I need to explain more:
1. It had been over 4 hours since the previous guy said he needed to get a truck. Did not leave his phone number.
2. She was literally leaving the house when my buddy showed up. She was leaving the bike out, on the sidewalk, with the ad still posted. Anyone could have driven by and picked it up after she left.
3. She gave the unexpected $100 to her son, it was his bike, and he had lost interest and they were moving.
4. It was her choice.

I not following this story too clearly?

“If APEX ended up with the bike an he is happy that an abandoned Yamaha went to a great home,” ( seller’s ) people in a panic these days’ are in for the “ride of their lives” if they think things are going “to improve quickly.”

I say congratulations. Score 1 for the Home Team!

OK, I’ll be devils advocate. The first guy knew that it was basically stealing the bike for nothing. He didn’t offer her anything for it, so he had nothing to lose. He was really taking advantage of something when he knew it was worth a lot more. The second guy at least gave her $100 for it. It seems to me that the first guy is out nothing except may be a little gas. He probably should’ve offered her some money and left a deposit because it was worth more than just free.
