If you used the correct 27x1 LH puller they're very fine thread & can pull the threads if the washers are still in place.
I guess that isn't the case but important to remove both spring & thick flat original washer to get the puller full depth. Gotta keep that center bolt backed right out for the puller to get right home.
Is there any thread left to save the situation.
Or am i wildly off track with what's damaged.
Hope someone has a flywheel for you.
Be the same as my magneto "70 AT1 i guess--which i can't remember ever having off in the last 50 years so i might be in for an unpleasant surprise oneday. I'll look farward to the day--Not!!.

I think I have one or two left.

Just to be sure of what you need, does your stator have 2 or 3 source coils on it?

(should have 2, I've come across a couple that had the later 3 coils stator which requires a different flywheel)

TSMITTY, just to confirm, you're looking for a CT1 flywheel to fit to a CT3, because the CT3 has a CT1 stator on it? If Mark doesn't come up trumps, there are a couple on fleabay.

Thought I was late to then party but I see I was here earlier & nearly liked my own post haha. Anyhow, as I read it you want to use your "now cam" from the damaged flywheel "that I guess you've removed out of the flywheel" to set the timing. Then fit the new flywheel & ride off into the sunset. Good theory but it'll be interesting to see how it pans out in reality as you could place money on there being fractional differences between the two cams. Sorry to ruin the party but will be an interesting experiment to see how they compare. Best wishes from NZ. I have a magneto AT1.

3 coils. I bought the strator to match my other CT3. When I got this bike, they had a 2nd wire loom hooked up. ?? It was a mess. The flywheel is for a 250. But I wanted to get back to original. So I'm matching things up. The other CT3 has a Hitachi  F-136. Hope you can help.

I found one that "might" work but it's just a f-130. I'm not good on the electric side, that's why I'm just going with the other bike trying to match up. Thanks for the input guys.

By the way, I'm from Illinois, 38 miles west of Chicago. Once I get enough posts, I'll upload some pics. The first bike I went with the "Gold Dust" paint i read about here. It's not the original color but, I like it! This other one I went with the original Gold Dust "Candy". First time using a spray gun. Only 2 minor defects! (Paint from VMR) those guys were really helpful.

No go on fleabay. They did have one out there and I missed it by 3 hours this past Monday. Didn't realize I needed to change it until Monday afternoon.
