It’s very possible the previous owner purchased the incorrect rear fender. That fender fits the DT3 if I am not mistaken? There’s a family crisis happening now, so the frame painting is on hold.

Yesterday, 09/23/2022 - I brought home Jordan 1971 DT1 frame, swing arm (attached), brake rod, new battery box purchased, rear brake pedal, foot peg mount, tool box and a couple 1974 Honda MT 250 air box and gauge case for painting. My plans for tomorrow Sunday, were changed so I hopped over tonight and got a six pack of semi gloss black paint and some 400 wet dry paper. Started yesterday, sanding the frame with 80 grit removing caked on mud, after going to the Spray Wash and today another hour. The other parts got wet sanded in the kitchen sink. A benefit of living alone!

1.5 hrs. frame 
1.0 hrs. frame 
.75 hr. misc. parts

The frame needs a once over with 400 while the small parts dry. Starting upside down we get it ready to zinc coat the engine mount hardware in a few weeks. The weather is perfect.
