Has anyone put a Shinko SR241 3:50 x 19 on their DT1?
Looks a little wide like it might rub the fender or fork leg.

I tried one, it is a little too wide.

I put a 3.50 X 19 on the front of a '72 RT2, which is dimensionally the same from a forks perspective. Tire "looks" wide but fits fine and sticks like glue on pavement. Great tires! I have a 4.00X18 on my '71 DT1 and LOVE it.

The 3.50x19 Shinko barely cleared the forks on mine.

I have this on one of my 1971 RT1B-360 Enduros. It looks pretty good and clears the fork tubes. Rides nice on the street.

This is my RT2 with the 3.50 x 19 Shinko. It does look a little fat compared to the original 3.25, fits fine no clearance issues. Great tires on and off road. The picture in the master tire thread looks a little goofy.

Thanks, but I do ride them, all of them off road. When I do an old bike dirt / gravel day ride, I plan the next day for cleaning. So an old bike day ride is actually a two day event.​​​​​

Oh yeah, one thing about the 3.50 Shinko, it's good at picking up rocks when I'm on gravel. I always cringe when I hear a rock going up between the tire and fender. So far no damage but I'm sure the fender underside has plenty of scrapes and scratches.
