Thank you Mark. Yes, thats it. Also, it won't let me edit the post. When editing, I get a blank blox of data to edit. I'll leave well enough alone! Thanks again.

Well, batter up. Tank is next. Going to be challenging for me as I usually use vinyl stripes. This time, they get painted on.

Few more pics from today.
I just realized I didn't check to see if the sticker on the oil tank was the right one. I was more dialed to alignment. Hopefully, I aligned it at the correct point. The decal is under the clear coat and the stripes are painted on like I did the tank. I added the over-spray on back like the factory did to the oil tank.
cleaned up parts, gave them a shot of Transtar 4603 here and there where metal was exposed, sanded lightly w/600, then same as above. 2 coats base, 2 coats clear.

This "looks" like a good idea, but in reality I blew over-spray through the holes when I painted the inside. I probably won't do it again. Lucky, I caught it right away and just laid another layer over the backside of the bucket.

Once day I'm cleaning it up, the next day I'm looking at a stripped frame in garage. lmao.

A sneek preview from today. several unfinished items (fuel, wiring, etc) , but getting closer to a start up. Oops forgot to reroute that throttle cable before pic. oh well.
problem:
* key switch.
while looking for a switch, wired everything up for position #2 w/kill switch to be mounted on bar.
Start up hopefully Fri.
I'm going to try something I have not before, when done, going to add a youtube video of the "clean up" w/sound clips for those who
are unable to access via imgur.

Are you missing the key switch completely?

I “had” a switch. I think I saved the case. I may be able to scrap together what was in there. I got p/o got the wire cutters out, added a few 4mm butt connectors where sw used to be.
