Glad you got a thorough decoke. Watch out for the spooge!
Wishing you an absolutely miraculous return to good health.
And a good time to remind UK members over 60. See your GP about getting put on the bowel cancer screening register if he not already done so. The test kit automatically arrives in the mail once every two years, takes seconds to do at home and once you have done it, pop the kit back in the mail and wait for the results. Totally free.

Cheers ! When out and about I used to look out for a decent coffee spot, now I just think is there a toilet nearby! I am fortunate that so far it has not spread. He knocked out about 20cms, so running a short pipe now! The surgeon said I should be stronger in about 12 months. It's hard but good to be in the land of the living, thank you for the kind comments

It wasnt all drudgery though, we had some summer fun and games. One challenge was, with an IV in each hand and in pyjamas and nappies you had to pee in a small plastic cup every hour for 30 hours consecutively, it was fun balancing the cup on the edge of the toilet seat and trying not to wobble too much or get caught up in your IV line

The full decoke and short pipe mod takes 6 cuts for the mini robot arms ( you can't see them all) and they put the camera through your belly button

Impressive.
In the UK, with our "wonderful" NHS, the operation would have been carried out by a drunk surgeon, leaving a 6" scar that looks like a, zipper and conducted two years too late.

Cancer diagnosed, op 2 weeks later! The surgeon is one fired up dude with a very heavy schedule, some of our meetings were just like 3 minutes! Guy has probably 2 decades of experience. I guess Im glad to be miles away from the NHS!
