Does this include the '77 and up DT250 & 400? If so, I'm in.

Hey Dave do you need the tail also, or just the muffler.
Thanks Mark

Um... :?: Not sure I'm following you mdScott, we're talking about modifying the inside of the stock expansion chamber so it actually functions as one, correct? The pipe I have is on a complete, running, fairly OEM (for now) '77 DT400D. I'm not averse to installing a lighter and less restrictive muffler, but I didn't think that was what we were talking about here. :)

Hey Guys

Sorry for any confusion !

Been out working on Sleeper Pipes SP54 and SP55 !

In regards to the silencer portion of the pipe. Since we do not make any mods to the silencer so there is "real" need to
send that with your pipe for the Sleeper mod. I always recommend you send the silencer if your unsure of its condition...
especially if it might be plugged up ? We will inspect and clean out the spark arrestor if needed if you send it ....no charge.

Using an aftermarket (FMF) silencer is optional with the Sleeper Pipe mod as it can enhance performance over the stock silencer.

Hi Dave:

Is this mod similar to Husky Dave's pipe on the silver DT400 I rode at Hungry Valley?
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Yes..... it is actually the "same" mod we did for Huskydave. I also did some porting to go along with his Sleeper Pipe.

You rode his 74 DT400 ...what was your impression of how his bike runs ?

Are you guys doing any with the 125's or know of anyone that is? Just more of a curiosity thing I had thought to possibly have a spare pipe done or made to get a little power out of it.
