Agreed it is somewhat different, however, I was thinking (which usually gets me into trouble!) that the pip they are using is very close to that on a 250/360 stock pipe. Wondering if the "theory" could be applied to your builds, even if incorporating a spark arrestor.

Thinking my Suntank may need the benefit of your magic one of these days !

It has more low-end and midrange power and seems to have better throttle response.

I rode the 1976 DT 400 with the sleeper pipe and then the 1975 DT400 with a stock pipe there is a noticeable difference.

So I've read a little here about sleeper pipes, expansion chambers really help.
My question how do the 74 DT250 stock pipe fair, are they pretty good or can you modify them to get more power. Also I dont see info on the MX250/360 modifying them, they are very similar in shape as the DT's the same year.
