one of the 3 plugs came off. when i got home, the battery was dry. i put new acid in it but still not charghing. is the motobatt good? should i buy it and what mods do i need to make to the battery holder to hold it?

Sorry, can't help you with battery size on that model. Search might turn up something or someone will hopefully answer soon.

It's just unusual to boil all the water out and destroy a new battery in a short time without another problem like AC voltage instead of DC getting to battery.

The sealed AGM YTX7LBS is almost perfect fit, added a little piece not foam rubber to keep it from vibrating in the holder ,
bought a generic equivalent for about 30$

thats what i was looking for. but when i look up ytx7lbs, it shows up as 12 v. will this work on my 75 dt250b with 6 volts ? what do i need to convert in order to run it. i do some local runs around the neighborhood in the nights and need the headlight and brake lights. if i was using this as a dirt bike, i would care less for electricals. i want to bring it back to as original as possible.

Sorry it is the OP with the AT1 that takes the 12 v battery, not sure what options you have with the 6v system
