At least my insurance will actually pay to replace the Mtn bikes with a current model comparable bicycle instead of just the depreciated value. So we will get them replaced one way or another.
In any event, this Hodaka was my son’s prized creation. He did a lot of the work and it meant a whole heck of a lot to him.
As far as the Case, it is in another county, so no danger of me hearing the Case.

Good result.Great to see the cops are interested in helping.
It's funny, these jerks have got more neck than a Giraffe to advertise such an item bold as brass and hope you won't be looking for what they've robbed.
They want a piece of 4x2 across the back of their heads.

I'm not exactly "sure how to put this" but let me try this statement:
Even the happiest, go lucky, superior court justices can hand down the most severe sentences, punishments and restitutions when they take a "personal interest in the defendants demeanor and actions!"
I think that sums it up pretty well?

I am very happy for you and your son.
So I suppose you wont be using that storage facility anymore, was there a security gate.
Also Mako, like i tell judges when I'm up for jury duty, "judge, you really want me on the jury because I can spot a guilty person a mile away."

They were stored on private property, 3/4 of a mile behind a locked gate. The idling was locked, but not as well as it needs to be for valuable storage, obviously. They broke into a toy hauler, three buildings and a boat.
Fortunately most of the still missing stuff is insured for replacement (not depreciated value), so that part we’ll be mostly made whole. Never get the sense of security back though.
The good news is the damage to the various bikes is not too bad and all fixable. We had some good weather today, so my son got to test the Hodaka and it appears to be all functionally scathed. A few scratches and a missing number plate, but still a great little fun rider!

Mako,
I'm looking forward to hoisting a few to you and the power of the System come Cal Dreamin 2018! I have been praying for their safe return since it happened, and God has done His usual fantastic job. Still, I'd have REALLY loved being the one to make the arrest. Miscreant: "Hey, these handcuffs are too tight!" Me: "That's OK, they're new--they'll stretch."
Bravo Mako!

Bear in mind that Mako is a judge. I would guess in the UK the cops do in fact come around when a judge rings up.
