I get the error “Failed To Create Attachment Directory.” When I try to post pics. Not sure what else to do for that. I forgot there was an o ring on the air mixture screw and it was melted by the carb cleaner. It’s been replaced. There is an oring between the needle and the main jet holder. I’ve never seen that before but Yamaha engineers are smarter than I am so it’s also been replaced. The only thing I can’t sort is how the pickup tube on the bowl for the choke fills with fuel. If I could post pics that would help for sure. There is what appears to be a brass metering jet of some sort at the bottom. The small hole on the side of this tube appears to allow fuel in, flow through this little brass jet, and get drawn into the brass pickup. It’s definitely not allowing fuel in from the hole. There’s no way to get this brass jet out. It looks to be a press fit. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

To post pictures you need to use a third party host such as Imgur.

The way you worded a previous post I thought you were saying you melted the air screw in carb cleaner.... my bad, should have clarified what you meant by "print".
That jet does not come out. You will destroy the float bowl if you try. And yes, the hole must be clear and allow fuel into the well.

Hmm thats what I had thought about the little brass unit in there being a jet. It’s all clean except for the jet itself. I’ll give it a go with the jewellers drill bit set I have. I would like choke to work.

I've used carb cleaner and 0.4mm copper wire in the past.

That particular model is almost impossible to start cold with a plugged starter jet... be careful not to make the hole bigger.

If you start drilling be careful or you'll come out the bottom of the bowl.
Ok that's a bit radical or me being stupid--as usual.
Anyway--when you poke the fixed jet clear just poke in under it to be sure nothing is stuck under it.
Feeds in sideways from the bowl to under the jet.
I'm sure you know all that.
I did drill one oversize once with my smallest drill & sure richened it up too much.
Was ok for my bike & one kick cold start pretty much, but if you weren't aware & kept kicking she'd be well flooded up.

Quick update on this. I got the choke jet cleared out. The carb is spotless now and is back on the bike. Need to get the fuel cock replaced and the clutch back together and should be good to go.
