"Play" can be several things... and a certain amount is normal on the models with a "cush drive". Unfortunately only you can see what direction the play is in (side to side? back and forth? both?) and how much it moves.

Unfortunately the hub & sprocket carrier wear & let it flop around. Rubbers never seem to give up so don't waste your money until you've verified where the play is coming from. Sideways rocking motion?.

Thanks for the video. Yes that's just typical of how they get. No easy cure but won't come to any harm in the short term [or long term if you saw mine]. I guess you have an original chain guide on the lower chain run leading onto the sprocket. I feel it's wrong to try & load it sideways behind the circlip with a large washer to keep it straight as it's then forcing itself against the clip to try & tilt. As it is now its limited by the wear & is tilting withing what the wear lets it do. I should get a vid of mine & it'll put you at ease.

Got the same issue on my DT, 33000Km on it.
The wobble will increase moe and more, as there is more play.
The inner Cylinder with the circlip groove gets conical trugh the wear.
I made a bushing of stainless steel with my lathe for the conical hub and made the hole in the damper plate fitting with 0,05mm play
I didn´t see any other option. A distance washer didn´t work

Hey All, not an expert here but I had the same problem on my DT3. It wasn't quite as bad as yours in the video but I replaced the sprocket side hub with a NOS hub off Ebay. I also replaced a badly worn circlip and it ended up being real snug. I would guess it would be a 50/50 shot on weather the inner hub on the wheel side or the sprocket side hub would be worn as they appear to be the same material. Guessing grit gets in the and causes the wear. I like the sleeve method though.
Cheers, Mike
