That's good. Don't screw it out too far. Any adjustment is within one turn, or really half a turn. Half turn forward & same half turn back & that's all there is. After that ya going in circles. Should be pretty much screwed in until thread disappeares or getting that way, then use your half turn to find the happy spot then hold it while locking the nut. I'm overthinking it & if ya happy as it is & screw is still engaged by a safe amount in the thread then 'you'll be good'. & so long as the screw can't rub on anything--clutch or whatever, if screwed out too far on its thread.

Hmm, service manual showed the teeth of the claw needed to be centered On the plate that holds the pins in place. I wasn’t paying attention to the number of turns but it was very far off center and works great now. Maybe it was a minor turn to get it in spec. Perhaps the saying “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” should be amended to “if it works, ride it”!
