1975 DT125 fuel tanks, options? was created by loganlee
Hello, this is my first time posting so I hope this is the correct spot..
I've been working on my 1975 DT125 and all I need at this point is a fuel tank. I've been having a hard time finding one that is not covered in rust. My question is, will other year / models fit on my 125? For instance will a 1975 175 fuel tank work? Any other options as far as after market fuel tanks?
Any help would be appreciated, and if you have one available for sale that would also be great. Thanks!

I know this forum is big... not much hasn't been discussed many times that search can bring up... but since so much is here it can be hard to find stuff.
Most of the time posts that don't get answers are because there's not enough information.. Like in this case was the bike originally a 12v electric start? 6v magneto? (USA model 125's in this era were all electric start... which is not true in the rest of the world... and occasionally someone in US has a non-US model)
Questions with pictures tend to get the best and most responses too. VIN numbers also help identify so including at least the prefix is helpful.
So now I've written a whole book without any answers.
