AutoLube Plastic feed line was created by mdscott

Hello, Yamaha Enduro fans.

I meant to say output, from pump to carb.

I need a few opinions, my YG5T uses a plastic AutoLube output line.
The bike came with fiber washers, Yamaha only sells copper. I have both types,
I need some input on which you would think be best.
Personally I believe fiber is best, I don't think copper would be good against the plastic tube.

Thanks Mark

I would use some thick gasket material and Hollow Punch Set from Harbor Freight to make some.

Fiber would be my next choice. not sure about the what looks like a knurled finish on the ones you have ?

Thanks.
I've used the red fiber gaskets with similar things with success.
I do have the HF hole punch set. Probably could find a doner gasket.
Thanks Mark

I'd use the fiber ones.

What happens if you use too thick a gasket?
What happens if you use the wrong banjo bolt? (The new ones are not the same as the originals)
The spring has to rest against the top of the banjo bolt.
I do not recommend making your own gasket if it will be too thick. The originals were thin.

If someone has a new copper gasket, you could measure it.
The fiber shouldn't be much thicker.
Most gasket material today is too thick.
