Is the torsion arm bush available anywhere for a dt400c? Also the rubber cover on chain side of the swing arm?

PART # 363-22123-00-00 available on US Ebay. $ 15.99 + 6.99 shipping. It's in Texas. For rubber part, check for same part for 250 Suzuki. It's called a " chain defense". I have one on my 75 DT 250. Works perfect and it's less than $ 10.00 . OEM Yamaha part is currently on E bay for $ 60.00. Update: just went to E bay. The Suzuki boys must have caught on , their part is now selling for $ 45-80.

In theory & in my experience, i've never seen one of those bonded rubber bushes wear out. No matter if its in a old yamy 50 swing/arm or a DT1 brake plate anchor or the frame end of the anchor arm the problem is only 'ever' the bolt is loose & nothing more. I suppose in hindsight that if the bolt had been loose for 40 years then it could wear the steel internal part of the bush or wear the bolt, from letting that do the work of the bush stretchy bonded rubber. But even in that extreme case, just tightening the bolt would fix it if not dangerously worn like i've seen some V50 scooter swing/arm bolts.

It could just be missing.

Gr8 it is there and appears ok, just that as it's off for painting I thought it might be a cheap item to replace.

Reminds me of the time, 30 odd years ago, when I sent off a RD250 or RD400 frame for shot blasting and powder coating. It must have had plastic or nylon bushes in the swing arm and I'd forgotten to remove them - nice and melted they were!!
