That's a little worse than my DT400, but not a lot. I can make a comparison video after dinner and post it for your reference purposes. But I would simply Ride On and see if it gets noticeably worse. But others may have a different opinion.

I got to thinking (dangerous I know!), but didn't I hear on here from those whom are smarter than me (not too difficult), that wiseco forged pistons tend to sound louder than say stock or perhaps other brands of forged pistons. I put a Wossner forged in my DT2 and it is surprisingly quiet.

Here's what mine sounds like on a cold start. Actually, it sounds about the same as yours. Video sound tracks always make stuff sound worse.

Thanks for the video Bill, yeah they do sound about the same. Guess I won't stress too much over it but am still debating on sending the motor off to Klemm for them to work it over top to bottom... Thanks again!

Sure sounds piston but if its wiseco they have extra clearance. Had one in my 360 which quietened to about half when fully warmed up.

Good morning Morley, the videos were taken after I did some laps around the hood so she was good and warmed up. It does sound about the same as what Schu posted and he knows more about these bikes than I do.

Thanks Msavitt. It's grown to a size where it's hard to simply keep them all running let alone buy tires for the ones that are dried and splitting. I hate to admit it, but I have recently been buying used tires if they are still decent.
