Good Morning,
       The Yamaha Gods are pleased with ME! On the slim chance it was something simple, I pulled main Jet out of carb ........ cleaned it and Voila!
The Bike runs great again! I just added a new fuel filter a while ago so I was sure that the carb was clean........NOT!!! lol
        Thank-You all for all the great advice!!

Well done and thanks for posting.

Have you checked the state of the filter inside the tank and/or do you have an inline fuel filter? Just wondering if the blockage was a bit of debris from inside the tank.

Yes , I have the original filter in tank after a good vinegar two week soak with a small chain inside. Then I added the inline one also!

The glass bowl filter like my old Fergy Tractor had was good on them. I've got one too. That'd look good hanging off my DT1 haha.

The original petcock filter is really a miniature version of your Fergy glass bowl filter, isn't it? 

Of course the bowl isn't glass on the Yamaha.  Good design though.  Just hard to get parts like the fine screen for the original filter.

True 'that'. Now 'there's' an opening for a clear glass or unbreakable material totally clear deeper than original bowl for the petcock. Could do a visual as often as you like to see what's there--water & rubbish.

Don’t know if it posted the pic or not ….tried twice. Don’t know if it posted the pic or not ….tried twice. It’s just a small bottle neck see thru filter with arrow for correct flow .
