The reason for that question is many of the early parts diagrams show the upper races reversed.  The part numbers with 23412 in them are the halves that press into the frame.

The 23411 numbers are either the very bottom race or the very top race.

Mark, I didn't go by the part numbers this time as I had to remove, clean, and reinstall the existing parts.  I looked at the parts book and mine appears to be correct. The 23412 races that are driven into the frame seem to have a wider face(deeper) than the 23411.

I rode the DT360 today and it handled beautifully!  The problem was definitely the upper lower steering head race not seating properly due to the powder coating. Now if I can only get my lighting squared away. :(
